How much work is done by the barrier on the cart and by the cart on the barrier if.....?

How much work is done by the barrier on the cart and by the cart on the barrier if a cart with spring plunger runs into a fixed barrier. The initial velocity, final velocity and mass of the cart are given.

I know how much work will be done on the cart due to the barrier but i am confused about work done on the the barrier due to the cart. Can someone please explain?
