I'm listening to a japanese song and I got two translations and i'm not sure which one is correct...the line goes Tatake tatake tatake yowaii tamashii... (shiro no jumon by doa) but the other one says hatake hatake hatake yowai tamashii... i can't figure out or find out what tatake means. help please.

I am guessing hit or strike.
From tataku, tatake would be a command
Hit, hit, hit, your weak spirit. (you is not mentioned in the song but in English we need to have something we hit so I included it)
Hatake means field, as in vegetable field usually, but just looking up my dictionary also means dust, and strike in some cases, so either way it probably means the same, hit
