It has been noted that life is a series of overlapping, and unending processes. I used to think that I was working toward being happy, joyous, and free. I have since come to learn that I can have that, but not forever, that it's part of the greater process to also not be happy, joyous, and free.
I now work toward appreciating the process and understanding that for me, there is no final aim but the moment. I try, but with little success to appreciate the lows, with the full knowledge that I will be restored to some form of high. I am also working toward accepting myself as-is at any point in my process. This is proving to be very difficult. I am addicted to the "the pursuit of happiness" and I have a tough time during the times when I'm not feeling that "happiness". Even though I know it's all a cycle, it's hard for me to not feel anguish, and yearn for a permanent state of bliss.
I am not qualified to speak about life, all I know is that I'm on the big ferris wheel. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it sucks, but I have to stay on the wheel until I'm told to get off. Thanks for letting me share.

that's a very good question. i think that in my younger years i did things as pure reaction, knee jerk stuff. i had no plan or idea what i was doing or where i was going. party hardy. now that i am older, gave up the party hardy attitude and the booze, i've begun to have retrospect (20/20 hind sight) and have become more focused in what i'm trying to accomplish in my life. ultimatly, when i'm on my death bed, i'd like to look back on my life and have a satisfied feeling that i lived the best i could with what i had and everything turned out OK.

I do for, what I do do because I do. My aim in life is to be happy in what I do. Have a good one. I do!
