You can't act on those feelings anymore? Well, why not? What happened?

I fell for a friend once... and I acted on it. Now, we are no longer together, and the friendship... well, how can we be friends when I still have feelings for him? It's just not possible. Maybe it would have been better to have stayed friends 'cause then I would have still had him in my life.

Metg someone several months ago and we fell into an instant friendship that was great.

When he told me on the phone last week that he had a long term 12 year relationship, I was gutted and when I put the phone down I broke down.

I had no idea my new best friend wasn't a best friend after all but someone I had fallen in love with.

Sent him a text last night saying I had fallen for him and that I couldn't just be a friend but if the crush passes and we can transcend all this then I'd value his friendship.

Wow. It has been a bittersweet day. I am glad I can still love cos it's been a long time since I have had any feelings like this but it's also sad. A friendship may have been wrecked cos of all this and no, he hasn't text'd me back.

Yes twice but it never works out. Even though the best lovers are also best friends there still needs to be that certain something that can take it over the top. I not sure what that something is but I think it’s more than just mutual attraction.

Timing is also important. Act on those feelings right away. as time passes so does opportunity.

I did too, and yes, till now I regret for not giving it a shot back then. We met through online, her sister introduced us, and we became close online friends, and then eventually we knew each other in real life.

We was very close back then, almost everyday she'll look for me to chat with but i didn't acted on it because I was still insecure, probably over analytic and afraid of rejection, so I though I shouldn't rush things and let our friendship gets closer. I was so stupid to never though that things could go the opposite direction too, and it did.

I wish I did something about it when i had that chance, instead of waiting for a better chance. There never was a better chance.

I still very much in love with her, and I miss our friendship too.

yes, I am right now, problem is the good friend is over 18 and I'm not. Maybe I will act on these feelings (if I still have them) when I get older........

Not yet, I think you should act on those feelings, if he also feels the same way. It's actually a good way to start a relationship, if you're already friends and know each other....Only thing is if it doesn't work out, your likely to lose him forever...............But,It might be a risk worth taking................

I did, and did act on my feeling at the end of the school year. Now he's my boyfriend and I'm very happy.

Yes, and I had a chance at one point. He's "straight" but seriously, I could've messed around with him in the past. I called him over one day and he ran over here but then I did nothing. That's right; NOTHING.

I should've been a bit more brave...

I had a good friend that fell for me and then the friendship ended! I still miss him but he wasn't interested in
"JUST" friendship! Situations like that unravel very rapidly
