Yes, I know quite a few to look at. My favorites include Perpetual Groove, Lotus, The Disco Biscuits, Sound Tribe Sector 9.
Others....moe(I don't like them, though), Michael Franti and Spearhead, Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, Medeski Martin & Wood(jazzy).....these aren't all necessarily "jam" bands, but they set out to create a groove that's easy to move to, like Robert Randolph(who kicks ***).

Particle was the best jam band of all time IMO(they were a pure jam band - all instrumental, no lyrics) but since their original guitarist left a couple of years ago, they've lost some of their luster - and have even started using lyrics(Boo!).

Guster used to be classifed under jam bands...
but they are overal good for chilled out rock.


some one mentioned ben folds five. they are NOT jam. just alternative/rock
or how ben folds used to refer to them as "punk for pansies"
