...names play a significant role in one's 'destiny'. I mean, it seems like I've always had a really close friend named Matt. I could name tons of them. Any person whose name starts with E seems to have a personality that really meshes with mine... I've never disliked an E. Eric, Elizabeth, Ethan, Elaine (my mom's middle name too, btw), Elijah, Ebony, Everett. It's interesting, really.

To E2: The wheel has been invented, sure. But (I like to start sentences with coordinating conjunctions) has it been perfected? I'm sure it's still rather jagged, and still made of stone. I'm gonna research this science and get back to you!

I used to sell radio advertising and a client of mine was the town psychic. After meeting with her and setting up an ad schedule, she started giving me a reading out of the blue. She hit on my past and my present to a T and then started telling me about my future. I thought she was full of crap until a couple of things fell into place.
One of the things that she told me which hasn't made itself crystal clear was the fact that I'm going to meet a man who's name starts with M. It could be a first, middle or last name, but we're suppose to fall madly in love and get married, yada yada. I've met many M's since then and none of them seemed to fit until I met my own Matt a few months ago. The problem is that he's very recently divorced and though we're both blissful when we're together it's just bad timing. Maybe someday...
OK that seems rather long for stating that I'm drawn to men with names starting with M. I'm not looking for M's, I just seem to keep finding them!

Names have always controlled destiny. This is why many aboriginal tribes and Native Americans hide their given names and/or rename themselves periodically throughout their lives and why children are formally named during religious ceremonies. There is already a science of names, proving that a person's name often controls the way he/she is perceived by others, so I fear you're a bit too late. In short, the wheel has already been invented!

Interesting point! I was married to a man named Jamie for 10 years & am now married to a man named Jamey. They are 2 TOTALLY different people!!! But what are the odds of that?

That's really cool- I want to name my son Matthew (Matt)- anyway I think names play a significant role in how people perceive you.
It would be cool to get this subject down to a science..

I agree. My name is Erin (does that mean we'll get along?) and I've always been able to talk really easily with people who's name start with L, but I find it hard with people who start with an A...don't ask me why lol. Also I ahve lots of friends that start with E or G

There is some Egyptian book on the power of names. I can't remember what it is to tell you though, but if you check on amazon you might find it.

yea, well if you think about it, there whole life would be different, cause they might not get the nic-name they got, or if people have trouble pronouncing it the second they would have stopped to explain how to say it they wouldnt have, so idk it seems like everything would change
