We live in a materialistic world where you can get anything at a price ,if you can afford it that is ,so people have the need of always bettering themselves but not always succeeding in getting what they want and if you're always trying to better yourself ,you're always going to try and reach that goal but if you fail to reach that goal then you are never happy with who you are ,so it's sometimes better to take a step back and take a look at the bigger picture in life and be happy with what you have ,because there is always someone worse off than yourself .It's easier to be satisfied with what you have than to be chasing something that will always be out of reach ,
then you are less likely to be disapointed with what you have already .Then there are times when things happen when you least expect them too and in alot of cases may bring you what you have been always waiting for .I find that it's always better to try your best at what ever you want or try to do to reach the goals you want ,then you might find that you reap the rewards much easier, but if things don't work out the way you wanted them to, then atleast you tried your best and you wont be so disapointed with the results if things don't work out !

Isaiah 64:6 says you are like filty rags... so no matter who you think you are God considers you as a filty rag because of sin and we all fall into this. what you have is now and that can be taken away so quickly, Luke 12:16-21 say things about our misplaced priorities, rich in material things... many think that they are somebody elevated above others, rich with money but have nothing stored up in heaven, Pride often comes into play with who you think you are! how would a rich man view himself if he showed you all the money he has and power and you told him God considers him as a filty rag!!!!!!!!!!!!

how do you know who you are? Nobody knows who he is so we should strive to find this out. What we have we have to be satisfied as that is in the hands of God and one has to be satisfied with Gods will.

A person should not be static as who he or she is. He or she has to be dynamic and improve in life (In all aspects). So we should not be satisfied as who we are.
