and was wondering how many miles were on your Miata before it started breaking down and needing repairs.
( Just so you know, I have a Toyota MR2, 1991, and just put a new trans in at 383 thousand miles. I plan to take as good care of my next car and hopefully, keep it that long too.)

The older miatas were extremely reliable. I have not worked on any of the newer ones so am unable to say how good they are, however, "Consumer Reports" have given even the newest models very high marks. They are great fun to drive. A 200,000 mile life with no problems would be what I would expect from a Miata.
