Go to Control Panel and Performence Mantenience. There on the side click system restore. Find a date when u didnt have the virus and restore it to that point. Or call Geek Squad

Oh boy you got a real BAD infection
and it will get worse everytime you REBOOT the PC

so leave it running in Windows

Until the infection is removed dont bother with
Homepage and wallpaper it will just keep resetting it.

So many online scanners are a SCAM
they tell you what are infected with "SORTA"
but they wont clean the HD until you PAY for the
program
Alot of times they list stuff that isnt even a problem
just to make your situation look even worse than it is

Best bet is start with AVG 7.5 Free
use this link
http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-Free-Edition/3000-2239_4-10320142.html
DOWNLOAD.COM tends to be a fast Download
OR
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5
direct from Grisoft File is one to far right the one with 1 green checkmark

After you download and Install It check for Updates
until there are no more then SCAN

Then Download Spybot
http://www.download.com/3000-8022_4-10401314.html
OR
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/

Again download ALL updates and scan your system

OR use the Yahoo Anti-Spy Option in your IE Toolbar
Yellow ICON with bullseye target in Red

If that doesnt work for you then we get Down and Dirty

Open the Directory C:\Windows\System32
View as Details
Sort by Date Accesed
Dates should be today or yesterday at top and along time ago at bottom
Hold mouse over files ending in DLL starting from top
shouldnt be to far back IN DATE from today
The file or files will have Random Looking names
like pjgerpk.dll and have no MOUSEOVER info in the box that appears when you hover mouse pointer over the name
You can check other DLL files and see that REAL dll files
include a MOUSEOVER text box describing the function
of the DLL and the Company that provided it

So work down about 2-3 weeks from today and write down
the names of DLL files that have NO MOUSEOVER INFO
make sure the spelling is 100% exact

Now open the Registry editor
Start>Run type Regedit
Use Edit / Find type in filename and search for it
When the Highlight bar appears and search pauses
PRESS DELETE
then hit F3 to resume search
at end of registry
scroll LEFT Window Bar back to TOP
and click on top line Should be called "My Computer"
open Edit / Find and enter another filename if you have one
and search again

Repeat UNTIL all file registry entries have been deleted

Now REBOOT PC

Return to C:\Windows\System32 and delete those files
from your list you made

HOLD SHIFT and Press DELETE
so that no copy is sent to recycle bin

Well change the homepage by right-clicking the explorer. Also backup all important data (songs movies) on another drive. Scan with a good anti-virus/spyware but not adware. If everything goes normal, good. Otherwise format your drive and re-install OS with the programs. Get google toolbar. Also try using another browser like mozila.

Also you might want to consider buying one of these:
1)Bit-Defender internet security
2)Kaspersky " "
3)Trend micro Pc-cillin 2006 not 2007.

They'll take care of 95% of the problems and listen to them.

Seems you got adware. Download Spybot Search&Destroy
and Adaware SE Personal, update them, and scan your PC with both of them. One can find and fix what the other can't.
They're good against spyware, adware and bad cookies.
For antvirus protection download Avast! Home Edition antivirus which is free.

Doesn't sound like a virus, just a really bad case of spyware. If I were you, I would backup the files I wanted to keep, and then wipe it clean with a Windows restore (using your Windows factory disk) and then get a good security program with a firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware.

Download windows defender to clean you system. Second try and go to trend micro house call. It will scan your system online and probably cleans as well. In case it still doesn't help go ahead and reapir your OS using the OS media.

I disagree with spybot. It can destroy your registry keys. Try this website for Ad-Aware that I have used for 8 years. The link is here:
