Filipinos are generally nice, have a very positive outlook in life, happy and mostly God-fearing. Can easily mingle with other cultures because of their excellent ability to speak, write, read English. Highly educated--most are college graduates. Colonized by Spain, then the Americans in the 1900s then the Japanese and Back to the Americans who finally recognized their independence.
You should visit their country of origin. The food is great, culture is great--people smile most of the time. They have the best beaches in the world (ok, maybe at par with Bali....but the Filipino people are super nice): googleize "boracay" and "panglao" and you will see.

While this has nothing to do with LGBT issues, I can't resist.
I'm White. I've known many Filipino people, men and women. My last boss was a lady who was half Filipina and half Puerto Rican. Filipinos are some of the nicest, friendliest, most generous, best people in the world! And I love the lumpia, chicken adobo and "young coconut" pie!

i think like everyone else they are good, dependable friends. i have many filipino friends and i chat with them more than any of my other friends.

my girlfriend is filipino and I love her with all my heart.. she makes the best chicken adobo and her mom cooks really well too.. i would like to visit that place with her someday..
