i got my period on the 18th and me and my boyfriend had sex that day because it wasnt heavy and he ejactulated in me is it possible that i can become pregnant?

A. Yes, you can potentially get pregnant if you have sex during your period (menstrual cycle). Sperm can survive for days inside your reproductive tract. So say you have sex towards the end of your period, but ovulate only a few days later, ovulation is close enough to unprotected sex, that you are pregnant.
A pregnancy test is the best way to tell if you are pregnant or not. Though you must wait until you miss your next period to get the most accurate results. This can be a home pregnancy test or a pregnancy test from your doctor, midwife or health department. In most cases you do not have to notify anyone of the test or the results.
If you are trying to avoid getting pregnant find a real method of birth control. Condoms, birth control pills (oral contraceptives), intrauterine device (IUD), foams, Depo provera shots, patches...there are plenty of methods to choose from.

No you cant get pregnant because when you're on your period it means you're done ovulating that month. All the blood is the eggs breaking up and discharging. The sperm has nothing to fertilize when that is happening.
Although you shouldn't make a habit out of having sex while youre on your period especially when you're cramping and when your cervix is tender because you can get infected or you bf can get an infection.

I can tell you, without any doubt, that the answer is 100% yes. A million times yes. The only way to avoid pregnancy is called birth control. And even those have that little percentage of failure in them. If you are trying to avoid pregnancy, and other nasty diseases, use a condom. In any case there are places where people better equipped than I can counsel you and being sexually active carries with it a great responsibility.
If, on the other hand, you want to get pregnant and are asking this question in order to find out if it's "worth a try" while menstruating - yes, it's "worth a try".

People are going to tell you yes, and try to scare you and make you feel bad. They're also going to try and lecture you because thats just how people are. Just remember that you don't have to believe everything you read on yahoo answers. You never know WHO is sittin on the other end of that keyboard!
I'm going to be honest with you, yeah it is possible. But your chances are like 1 in 100. Seriously. If I was you, do not spend another minute worrying about it. But be careful in the future!

properly I even have pay attention stranger thangz so i propose yah prob yet not liky u ov like 13-14-and 15 day of ur era so u count quantity the a million day u startlike if u start up nov 22u count quantity 13 14 15 dayz it may b the three 4 and 5 day 2 get prego u ov 3 dayz out da month in basic terms!!!

Yes you can - you can also delay your next period worrying about the 18th, which would do even more to uphold the pregnancy theory!
If you are worried - get a test and decide from that point...

It is possible, but if you have regular periods, then it is not probable. Most woman ovulate approximatly 14 days after the begining of their period!

honestly the chances are their,but this is the early stage if u want to stop it then only by consulting the doctors as because it is life any risk taken could be dangerous.after sex if u have urined out the sperm delivered then u r safe.

While it is not as likely while you are on your period, sperm can remain alive for days, allowing the possibility to become pregnant.
