Compare them after you apply and see how much scholarship money each give them.

Stanford is excellent, but even if you have had straight A's since 6th grade, a perfect on your SAT, and rank first in your class, you still may not get accepted.

Things that sound the best aren't always the best. So apply to them and ask this question when you receive an offer from them. Then, we can best answer your question. Make sure you visit each campus and meet with the professors in your chosen career path. It's important for you to like the professors that you'll have, no matter how prestigous a university it is. If you're unable to explore the campus on a visitation day, then choose universities where you can because visiting and meeting with students as well as your future profs are crucial. Last, do not just take the majority of votes here to decide your future major. Go to the school and meet with professors of both fields. Find out what jobs would be available to you, get a list of classes you'll have to take for each. Likely, it won't matter if you don't decide between those two until you're in college, because the first year will likely be about the same for both. You need to make that decision with informed answers, not anyone's opinions from here.

Good luck to you!

Stanford is the strongest, followed by Columbia, and finally Cornell, but none of them is bad.

With regard to UC Berkeley and UCLA, my sense is that Berkeley slightly, but only very slightly at the undegraduate level, edges out UCLA.

John Hopkins University is great for a pre-med track. Columbia is a liberal arts university, they do not offer courses that pertain to a pre-med track curriculum. I'm not sure about Stanford or Cornell.
