Both of them are playing only percentage cricket now.Sachin is the better as per recent records and also gives better percentage.

Choosing best is not just like choosing one for a man of the match award.
Both have been in the game for so long a time period. Each together have contributed for around 35-40,000 runs now in the international cricket. So they mattered as team mates. How many times they have paired themselves as a successful opening partners?
No ONE only is best. This is not the right way to think of sportsmen who represent one team and one nation. Probably you can compare who is best in playing one particular shot or facing different bowlers? That might make a good entertaining stuff.
But you make a serious sense to me. Therefore, both were best once.

Dont compare anybody with anyone ,because both are fantastic in their place. sachin cannot play a crafted six into the crowd and similarly ganguly cannot play a hook shot which sachin can .But overall sachin is GOD OF CRICKET.

Of Course Sachin though they have different perspective and they play differently but then too sachin is the best and that will be clear that he has passed his 10,000 runs and he has been the Top Batsman to score that .....now its very hard to beat his record and also he has the most centuries so he is the best.Sachin.....

While both are very good batsman, Sachin Tendulkar is the best batsman as he has set many batting records, wome of which will remain unbroken for years to come.
