I am so sorry that you have gotten so many Wrong, Crazy and Off the Wall answers to your question!
The Morning After Pill (Plan B) is no more dangerous than taking a birth control pill. It is even being considered for Over the counter use if it isnt already. All it does it give you a big dose of hormones at one time to prevent ovulation. Thereby working the same way the pill does. The only drawback is that it is not as effective as the birth control pill. I think the effectiveness is something like (dont quote me here) 65% whereas with correct use of the pill is 99% and that is alot of difference. But that is just a suggestion. But the answer is no, she is not threatening her life.. Unless, she is over 35 and smokes heavily (more than a pack a day) then she has some cardiovascular risks but they are not as life threatening as a pregnancy would be with those same issues.
Hope that helps!

The morning after pill or the regular birth control pill? They're different. It sounds like she's just taking the normal, one-a-day pill. That's absolutely safe to use for years at a time, even without sex. Many not sexually active women take it for acne or period pain. And yes, it is a good thing for a girl to take if she thinks she might have unprotected sex suddenly and doesn't want to get pregnant. Headaches could be a side effect of the pill, not sure about sleeping problems, though most women don't experience them and they normally go away within a few months of taking it. If she thinks there's a connection she can see her doctor to change pill though if she had those symptoms before then it's probably someting else. The morning after pill should only be used in emergencies after unprotected sex and not taken constantly, but I don't think your friend is doing that. Harriet

I don't think there have been any reports done about over using the morning after pill, but as its taking a dose worth 40 times of normal contraceptive pill, I wouldn't be doing it! If you take the normal pill on a regular basis, you see your doctor at least twice a year to be monitored for the risk of heart attacks, strokes or breast cancer. This pill doesn't require you to see a doctor at all.
Time to look for a better form of contraception for you both. Good luck

i just used it for the first time because we had an accident. maybe you should step up and suggest the pill or any other form, there are many to choose from! by no means should the morning after pill be a form of birth control.

no, but why doesn't she just take the pill, its the same thing, but better because, she's not "shocking" her body with a really large dose at once, I'm sorry but that is the most stupid thing I have ever heard, why would anyone choose that as a method of birth control, I can't even type anymore I am so disgusted!

Instead of using condoms you should get her on birth control pills, the shot, or the patch. If you keep having bad luck with condoms it's much safer than to keep taking plan b.

Buy some condoms that fit. Those pills are not intended to be used so often and there's no way that it's healthy.
