Having a period is what helps get our body ready for the potential of being able to have children some day. And when we don't get pregnant the brain then sends a signal with the help of a special organ called the pituitary gland to let our body know to shed the lining that would have been needed to sustain a pregnancy if she had gotten pregnant that month.

it the womans body way to clean it out in short terms, we have to shed the lining of or uterus or it can cause problems ! although there are things that come along with having a period it is necessary.

I'm only 10 . woman have eggs so it comes out of your ovary and go trough your tubes into the place ware babies stay but it doesn't have sperm to fertilize it so it just bleed out

First off all r u a guy or a girl. Seruiosly! and they hav bcuz there growing up. its called puberty DUH. if they didnt then we couldnt have kids.Why cant u ask ur parents. Since they had u they should know.

hey!! gurls have periods because its a apart of growing up and it allows them to have children when they get older!!! without it......there would be no way to reproduce!!!
