Be her friend, let her know that there are other people out there just like her. There are hot lines so she can talk to some one. Also she needs professional help. You are lucky because most people will not tell anyone. They don't feel like others know how she is feeling. Sometimes it is so hard to explain that a person often times give up on trying to explain. Its like hurting some where inside but you can not pin point where. quilter

Reassure her that you will be there for her. Let her know how much you and her other friends and family would miss her. Remind her that we all have bad times, but eventually things get better.
If it gets too bad, contact a family member. Also you can tell her to call 1800-SUICIDE for assistance. Suicide is a permanent solution for a temporary problem.

Spend a lot of your day with her to guarantee supervision. Do some emotional reconstruction. If it sounds worst and worst, leave the hotline number on her parents car or at the door, if she seems to be getting to lowest of low, tell her parents straight out. She may hate you now but thank you later. NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is that bad.

try to look at everything ffrom her perspective. Just let her knnow over and over that you care. i know when i get depressed most of the time i just really want someone to act like they care about me. it sounds a little selfish but it helps so much. just be there for her, get her to believe that things will get better even though it looks grim

Baker Act her. Give her the number to your local crisis center or call 211 yourself to get some advice from a counselor. Google your city name and crisis center, something will come up
