I am 14 years old and I have always had a dream to be a marine biologist. I was just wondering what might make that happen and what I would need to do. Sometime I would like to go to college in Australia maybe and study around the reef. I'm very interested in Cetaceans and other marine mammals.

Impressive career choice for someone of your age! I'm sure your parents are extremely proud.

You'll need to do well in high school, with emphasis on your science classes. If you're planning on attending a university and pursuing a degree in marine biology, it's best to get a head start by learning as much as you can about the biological sciences in high school before going to college, as the marine biology college curriculum is very science-intensive.

Basically, do well in high school, learn as much as you can, and stay determined throughout college! Good luck!

First of all get good grades in high school, a curriculum heavy in math and science of course. Second find a University that offers an undergraduate degree with a focus in marine biology as not all Universities even offer degrees in that field. Otherwise you will get a bachelors in biology and end up having to get a masters from another school in the field.

So, in extreme college that's not as significant what you do, as long as you artwork perplexing sufficient to take what you want on the school point.
