I have read the guidelines, a few times actually. The only possible reason it could have even been construed as in violation would be if it were found to be "chatting" and even then, that's a far stretch.

I found that question and was surprised it was gone. I've been finding a lot of deleted questions tonight.
As for your question, I think what's wrong is that people stopped caring about a lot of things. When you stop caring , you don't worry about things and don't try to change anything and it will not get better.

If you're upset about them deleting your Q now, just wait until they suspend your account.
Many have posted perfectly acceptable Q and A that are within YA's guidelines. And some button happy violation pusher will nail them with a bogus violation or many violations. We all have adapted to it though.

Welcome to the club... I've had questions deleted for totally inexplicable reasons... I chalk it up to the fact that when people don't have the capacity to understand, they get scared or angry.
