No, It's their choice.

You're right but the problem is that they're too poor to afford birth control or abortion and they're also too poor to afford any entertainment except making love all the time, since it's the only fun free thing out there.

The only way to stop the cycle would be to force them to give their kids to rich, infertile couples.

You need a driver's license to drive a car and a retail license to sell something, and a real estate license to sell a house, and some credentials to be a teacher...you should need a parent license to raise a kid.
You would need to learn about child safety, how to install a baby car seat and prove you can make enough money to feed and dress the child and pay for his college tuition.
So all those children dying in neglect would be loved instead.

If I were poor, I certainly would not have any children. People should wait until they are financially secure before having children or doing anything that requires an ongoing source of funds. And if they can't get themselves out of the hole that they're in, then they shouldn't have children.

Before I adopted my daughter, which was a huge expense in itself, I made sure that I was going to have the money to ensure that she'd always have a nice place to live, food on the table and a good education. Not to mention a ton of love and other good stuff.

Seems like common sense, no?

Of course, having said all that, it is still a person's choice. We, as a society, should not dictate who can or should have children.

Of course not.
1) Cynically, where are you gonna get the cannon fodder to fight your wars if not from the realms of the poor?

2) Realistically, many great men and women throughout history have come from poor families; Leonardo da Vinci and Michael Faraday are but two.
I'm lead to believe that Abe Lincoln was a bit poor too.

Yes, because their children would suffer a lot from it. They wouldn't get enough nutrition, education, health care etc. The parents have an option to bring this horrible world a baby or not, but the kids do not. So I think having a baby even if you're poor is selfish.

I agree with the poor not having more children although some do to get more money from the government that way. Certain people of nature.

Yes, but only if they are to a certain level of poverty that they can not care for their children enough so that the children have a good life. Oh and to add that the earth is getting overpopulated so cutting out 25% like the earlier mentioned would be a good thing.

I think people should prove they suitable to be parents before taking a baby home from hospitals. But it is impossible to enforce people not to have children. I don't like overpopulation especially when more wretched people keep on being born. I'll be good if we can stop some people breeding like rabbits.

Well i Guess some people look at it that way. But since 25% of people are living in poverty that would be cutting out alot of people. I think those people NEED family since they dont have food. and things like that.
