I don't think Dr. Bernard Jensen would have written a whole book about cleansing if there was no need for it. I was 30 years old and had extreme allegeries. I knew I was not well and one day in the mail came a flyer about cleansing. I went to a chiropractor (horrors!) and they had a colon cleansing machine. I won't go into details, but suffice it to say I had a lot of success (translation: elimination). I have since bought the colema board usually do a one week fast (with Dr. Iron's products Vit-Ra-Tox) and it keeps me feeling great. What works for the goose may not work for the gander, but it really helped me and continues to do so. Also, you find what you are made of when you embark on a 7 day fast - elimination.

Good luck, and there is a lot more information to be found by googling Dr. V.E. Irons and Dr. Bernard Jensen. I believe they both lived to be in their 90's.

If you really want to cleanse your colon, eat less meat and eat lots more fiber. Fiber provides bulk to your stool, which helps to flush/push/drag out any toxins, old gunk, etc that might be present. What's more natural than the fiber found in fruits and vegetables?

Anything else is a waste of time and money.
