we as human go crazy for youth and when we have it we rarely make logical use of it, but as soon as we realize that it's fading to old; we spend endless amount of money on gimmicks to try and retrieve it.

so can u imagine being an old person seeing all the young ones having tons of fun and looking forword to becoming young and fit? can u imagine the enthusiasm, the anxiety, and the aticipation even your dreams.

trying to tickle your giggle box.

we use up so much of our time getting old and so little of it being young.

Thats a bit hard to answer. But I feel both cycles would have their ups and downs. As we grow older we use our knowledge to gain control over our lives and make smarter decision. I also believe our capacity to make bonds with others expands as we grow older since we learn to identify with others. I would miss that.

Being young is a wonderful experience, but being old has its treasures too.

What a great question!

You know that saying 'youth is wasted on the young'?

Can't imagine how it would be to become younger as time passes. Would that include experience atrophying alongside physical size and shape?
Mindboggling.

Ow! Imagine labour and childbirth!

Shakespeare talks about the 7 ages of man and how we do regress to a childlike state in old age. But not actual youth.

Without spending a lot of time right now on thinking about it, I reckon this life cycle's OK and I'll stick to wrinkles deepening.
What does everyone reckon?

Would you REALLY want to observe the deterioration of your mind & emotions- over the improvement of your body??! Wouldn't that almost be like getting a kind of "Alzheimers"- where the "younger you get"- the LESS control you have over your desires, thoughts & impulses? My childhood- wasn't so great... -and being a teenager was NO picnic either. I'm not so sure that most of us would look forward to THAT- any more than we look forward to getting old- now. We waste too much time- PERIOD. And it's our OWN fault, no matter HOW old we are...

Very interesting question......actually I was thinking the same thing one day. Was it in an episode of the Twilight Zone or something?
I would like the present life style. I like knowing that along with knowledge and experience you begin to age with it. Weird? Well......then it just may be me. :]
I don't like the idea of being born old then getting younger as I got older. Does that make sense?
Well......it may be that I'm used to the way it is. But wouldn't it be odd to die a helpless infant?
Well either way we still die in diapers. =D

hmmm..thats a very good question...not quite sure how to answer it. I think honestly I like our life cycle the way it is so you do not need to wait to have fun. Plus as you grow older you get wiser. I love old people you can learn so much from them.
