Sunday, June 30, 2002 when Brasil defeated Germany 2-0 in the World Cup final to get their record 5th World Cup. It may sound corny to some people, but I'm Brasilian and it was the proudest and happiest moment of my life, hands down! HEXACAMPEAO 2010!

Most cherishable: playing baseball with my brother in my backyard with a tennis ball and plastic bat, pretending to be major league players in the World Series.
Most sad: Coming home from school one day in third grade and having my mom inform me that my grandfather has passed away.
Most happy: As a student journalist, being offered a summer internship at the Chicago Tribune newspaper as a sports writer.
Most shocking: September 11, 2001.
Most weird: When I had a three-some with two girls I had met merely hours ago, when a neighbor introduced herself to me as I was walking and invited me to have drinks with her and her friend at her place.
Most romantic: Second date with my first true girlfriend, when I was part of a couple for the first time.
Most painful: Anytime I think of the immense natural athletic talent I had that never became of anything because I grew up with a family that discouraged me from playing sports.
Most thankful: Any Christmastime dinners with my family.

You're getting deep now;.... when I told my sister that she could die with grace and I'd hold up the family. She's gone but the small family is still intact.
