the republicans sell themselves as the party of flag and god, but their actions contradict their rhetoric. i mean in all honesty, the repos dont fight poverty or do anything a good christian should do. the demos are afraid of the god question and they just do not explain themselves except on the most supperficial level. this gives the repos a edge in recruiting the moral majority god, flag, and country crowd.
however, these folks arent all that stupid and know they have been lied to and abused by lobbyists and the extreme right. it will be interesting to see how they vote in the future. there are trivial issues like right to life, prayer in schools, gay issues, flag burning etc...that the right wing will hold on to though.

The world is full of lies, if there is any truth that is GWB. And all the republicans are honest politicians. GOP is full of people with moral and ethics. There is nothing that republicans have done that is wrong. And if they ever made some honest mistakes it was nothing compare to wrongdoings of democrats. I mean c'mon people if you have a label saying you are republican means you are honest and pure. And if you say anything against the great GWB and the GOP you are a traitor and maybe even a terrorist. Okay okay okay I am just kidding.

When a politicians mouths open... you shouldn't listen. Little good can come of it. If you name me a President that was "moral and just" I can probably find something deplorable they did. They are humans after all, just rich and powerful.

No matter what group you point to, you can always find some bad apples. So it doesn't work to judge everyone in that group based on a few. You think I can't find corrupt democrats, with say, tens of thousands of dollars stashed in their freezer, for instance?
