My penis has a growth around the whole and then a line attached to it following all the way down to the testicles. Near the skin on the line theres some bumps that hurt if you touch it. It really interferes with my skating. What my question is is that when doctors perform on the penis, do they have to drug you so you don't feel anything when they operate? I'm only 13 years old and I'm really scared. Please answer

Don't be scared, and don't be embarrassed -- every doctor has seen thousands of penises, so it's all in a day's work for them. They will numb the area well if any surgery is needed. It might be a little sore for a few days afterwards, but not as bad as a lot of other things that have happened to you by the time you get to 13. But you may just need some cream or something rather than an operation.

The worst thing that can happen to you having the operation is not nearly as bad as not knowing what's happening and being scared. Get an appointment with your doctor ASAP!! You'll have to tell your parents, but it sounds like something the doctor really needs to look at.

Good luck!

when your 13 things like this can seem a lot worse then they really are. Just relax and talk to your local or family doctor. They will not judge or criticize you, actually you'll probably find they are very friendly.

As for surgery, this is probably highly unlikely as their are other methods more favourable.

skating? Sorry, but with that going on, who the h___ is worried about skating? Anesthetic is ALWAYS the patient's option. If it's painful to skate, do you think it might be painful to have someone cut on it?
