Did Dumbledore dies in Half-Blood Prince, why are folks trying to kill him again in Deathly Hollow?

Dead is dead, for Dumbledore isn't it, or is it?

Well as far as the ending of the Half - Blood Prince went, Albus Dumbledore is dead. In fact he had a funeral and his body became a white tomb and his portrait joined the others in the Headmasters' office. However, there has been rampant speculation that he may not have died and simply pulled an elaborate trick to prevent the binding hex from killing Snape. So, I guess we'll find out.

Some folks haven't read "Half-Blood Prince." Some, like myself, have theorized he found a way to comeback and help Harry (though Rowling seems to have shot down his coming back alive, but not in some other way). Others have been reading pre-exsisting fan fiction that is now being based off on the net as the seventh book, works that probably pre-date "Half-Blood Prince" and so the fan fiction author would not have known at the time they wrote it that Dumbledore was gonna die before the seventh book. Still others are passing off fakes made specifically for the release of "Deathly Hallows" as the actual book and they'll put in anything because they either have never read the books (only seen the movies) or their trying to be cruel.

I am gonna be the first to say this I think but just because Dumbledore is dead, doesnt mean that he can't lead Harry. Everyone forgets about the portraits of all the Headmasters in the Headmaster's Office. I bet Harry will talk to Dumbledore through the portrait and Dumbledore will lead him to each horcrux

yes, according to JK Rowling herself Dumbledore really did die. Also he is not Ron or Harry from the future (all the time-turners were destroyed in book 5).
