i would love for the yankees to keep him i always liked him. however it all depends if he wants to be in the spotlight in New York or if wants to go and play somewhere else.

I think the Yankees are the only team who will shell out the cash for him. I think that A-Rod would find the West Coast attractive, as far away from the New York media madness as possible, but the Giants and Angels won't be able to pay A-Rod at the level that the Yankees can. Well see how much he wants to get out of New York, if he goes to the West Coast for less money.

It's amazing how at the start of the season, you Yankee fans couldn't run him out of town fast enough, always booing him, cursing at him,etc. Now you're crying that you don't want him to leave. I hope he leaves just to spite you all and goes to Boston just to twist that knife a little deeper. I'm not a Red Sox fan either, I just think it would be the karma you deserve for they way you treated him. Let the thumbs downing begin (evil laugh)!

as a Yankee fan i want him in new york until he retires because hes such a great athlete and i want him in pinstripes i love this man hes such a great player plus the Yankees are the only team that can actually afford him

ME!!! He is like the best third baseman EVER!!! They get soo many runs with Arod on the team! Ppl who hate the Yankees say he stinks, but that is bcuz they are jealous of him!!! He rocks!!!! Like the game when he hits a homerun and the announcer says.... "Arod is A-mazing!!!" he is right!!!

I do, its almost a guaranteed 30 to 40 homeruns, 125 rbi's and a .300 batting average, who wouldnt want to keep that. GO YANKEES!!!!!!
