Super Wal-Mart and places like Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million etc will start selling the books at 12:01am Sat. July 21st. That's when the books are officially allowed to go on sale. Go to http://www.scholastic.com and look up the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It'll tell you when it goes on sale and where there will be a Harry Potter Party before hand. Places like Super Wal-Mart and I'm not sure where else are putting on parties. Wal-Marts is from 8pm Fri. 20th to 1am Sat. 21st. Hope this answers your question.

The official release of the book is midnight July 21st. However, it does not go on sale until one minute after midnight. A great many bookstores, particulary large chains such as Barnes & Noble and Borders, are holding midnight release parties at which they will start selling the book at 12:01 on the 21st. These parties start hours before the release on Friday July 20th (today) and when it comes time to sale the book the first to get it will be those who pre-ordered the book and showed up to the party. Those who pre-ordered but did not show up will have their books set aside. Finally, if there are any copies left after the pre-orders are taken care of, they will be sold to anyone who showed up but did not pre-order on a first come first serve basis.

I think you mean 12AM. I'm sure they will be. Many shops are staying open past normal business hours on Friday to sell them as soon as it hits midnight.

It comes out 1 min after mid-night at most book stores, they're staying open late for them. Only one more day! w00t! *tear*

Wal-mart is open 24 hours and they are selling it in 24 hours!!!!!!!!!!!! whooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
