Yes, of course. Even if they found undeniable evidence of Bonds using steroids, he would still deserve to be in the HOF, because during this era of a juiced MLB he was the best amongst all the steroid and HGH abusers.
To put it simply if there were no such thing as steroids then Barry would still have been the best player of his generation as proven by McGuire and Sosa taking them first then Bonds (probably) taking them just to prove that he was better than those guys.
The only reason bonds (probably) used roids was to show everybody that on an equal field he was the greatest player of his generation.
Barry Bonds should be a unanimous first ballot hall of famer.

YES!!!
Barry Bonds is definitely one of the greatest players in our generation. He is also arguably one of the greatest players who played the sport.
Yes, he might have taken performance enhancing drugs. But since Major League Baseball basically allow all players to do this, he is just a player who represents our era. Many, many players are juiced up right now. Some even retired to avoid the scrutiny.
So if Barry don't make the hall of fame on account of him taking performance enhancing drugs, then there a allot of players during this generation and previous generation who also do not deserve to be in the Hall of Fame.

No, if Pete Rose isn't allowed to be in the hall of fame neither should Barry.

I do, I cant stand the guy, but I do,
fact is, theres strong, STRONG cases of nolan ryan taking mulitple drugs when he pitched but it just wasn't in the limelight,
and steroids does not help your hand eye coordination, it does give you a little extra umph on your swing, but does not effect your ability to actually put the bat where it needs to be,
also, an espn analysist a year ago did a whole mathmatical thing figuring out the average strength steroids would give a guy, yada yada yada, he figured out when bonds hit 73 (assuming he was on roids ;) he would have hit 66 if not on roids, so not too much of a differencce
so yes, i think he deserves it, no one will pay attention to 'greenies' almost all players take, which, essentially, is methemphetamines, but since bonds is a total jerk to everyone, everyone hates him, so he's caused it himself
as hard as it is to say, he's a damn good baseball player

Yep, Along with Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa when he's done.I think there are a lot of guys who have used juice, they need to just accept that there was a steroid era. If steroids had of been available in the 40s and 50s whose to say those heros would not have juiced? Steroids alone will not make one a professional baseball player or football player. Steroids won't enable one to hit a 90 mph fastball or a major league curve ball.

Bonds does not, today, meet the Hall's conditions for ineligibility for consideration. Therefore he has that "right".
Stop abusing innocent commas.

i personally believe he should be in the hall of fame. In this generation, Barry Bonds will be the greatest homerun hitter to be witness. He is the only person i know that will be intentionally walked in the first inning with first base open. For all the haters out there....why do you boo him, but when he hits a homerun, you will the first one to stand and cheer....

He deserves to be in the HOF. Despite the controversy he is a great player, but then again so was Pete Rose. I'll just leave it at that.

Other athletes have surgery to have eyesight greater than 20/20, others have 'optional' surgery to improve their throwing arms. So why criticize Barry Bonds for doing something THAT WAS NOT ILLEGAL OR UNETHICAL when people say he did it?
He is a great athlete.
