i do hate edited version of anime because of the stuff were either removed or replace. the fcc is to blame for this because they don't want kids to some violent stuff, they have to removed the violence. some animes change the word "kill" to "destroy". also 4kids have pretty ****** up our anime as well with butchering the story, violence, humor, and other to made it lame as ****. i think all animes need to stay uncut. but thank god, the uncut anime with english voices is on dvd.

Taking out important plots from the show or a whole arc for no reason.
Changing the Marines to Navy
Guns for Hammers

because they simplify and dumb everything down, and take out all the good stuff like really violent scenes, and of course, the funny perverted stuff......oh and horrible voice acting
it just doesnt seem like an anime anymore after it goes through the editing process
