well, I think the honest answer to your whole question is right there in the last line, where you wrote;"I DONT WANT TO PAY ANYTHING"
The sad things is, you get what you pay for. Nothing.
I am not trying to be mean, so I appologize if it comes off as such. I am honestly trying to save you some headache. If you honestly want to be an actress, it will cost you not only money (for training) but time, as well as emotionally.
By posting a question such as this, you are only advertising to EVERYONE saying;"Hey, here I am take my money, Use me, and do anything you want with my dreams of being an actress" An agent is the last thing any aspiring actor/actress needs. The first things, the first steps are get training, after that, get experience (any experience), Get more training, Get more experience.
What a lot of people do not realize is that being an actress/actor (even say, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie) they are constantly working on their training. NO ONE in hollywood has a free ride.
I believe that if you really want to be an actress, then you can. It will be hard work, But you can do it.
Hope this helps even though it was probably not what you wanted to hear.

Okay to be honest,
my interpretation of this question..is like
Im hot, people think im hot, i wanna be famous, acting and modeling will be good for me,tell me an agent that i dont need to pay, i can walk in and get a job...
But im not being rude, thats just the way im getting your message.
First of all, most agents I have read about, dont make you pay anything until you get a job and they take maybe 20 or so dollars out of your pay, depending on how much you get.
Second of all, Even if you will work for anyone, will do anything, or whatever doesnt mean you will get parts, its very hard to even get parts, even extra's because there's so many people like yourself who want to get into acting and modeling like you.I know a few people who are excellent actors and actresses who are gorgues and talented but still havent got any luck in getting parts in shows, films etc etc
Third of all, you live in friking L.A for christ sake, talent agencies are everywhere! If you want one bad enough and you want to be famous bad enough you will go look around yourself!!!!!!
Hopefully my answer was useful, and/or made sense =)

Hi,
I'll answer your question with regard to wanting to become an actor, even though you will find some things in the information I'll give you that will help you to become a model as well.
This question comes up multiple times daily. If you do a search here on answers you will see other answers to this question. I answer this question a lot and so instead of writing the same or similar answers, I have created a 28-page ebooklet that answers pretty thoroughly your question.
Just go to http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/acs-blog.html , sign in on the right side of the page and you can download it for free. It's called: What It Takes To Become An Actor.
The second resource you might want to have a look at is this page: http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/how_to_get_an_agent.html . It takes you through a process that I used to get two agents and a personal manager in a short period of time.
Hope this helps!

This is not the way to do it. No agent will hire you on if you don't go to them yourself. Confidence is key, and asking complete strangers for a recommendation instead of searching yourself does NOT show confidence to an agent. Do your research--even a Google search will help. Send out resumes and headshots (which, by the way, are super expensive). Go for interviews. If you're lucky, you may find one willing to take you on.
P.S. Telling the guy at the mall story will not impress anyone, especially an agent.

forget the first stupid answer, you don;t just suddenly become an actor or a model. you have to have experience. You will not learn how to be an actor at college unless it is Julliard or a couple of other really good ones. You don't have to pay to be in school and community plays. You don't have to pay to get an agent. You will have to pay for some material like photos, stamps and so one to market yourself to agents and casting directors. You will eventually have to take professional classes although they do not teach you how to act, they are useful for making contacts in the business.

Uh huh. Well, finish school. Go to college and learn to act. Everybody in California wants to be an actress and a model. Join the crowd. And everybody in California is told they are "hot!". Big deal. Sorry to burst your bubble, but your chances are about 1 in a million. Get your education and you might actually have a chance.

Honey, there are hundreds of Talent Agents in agencies in Los Angeles.
Please do NOT type in all caps, it's rude! It means you are shouting. Please do not shout at us.
