the samurai are better with wepons but ninjas can jump of things and turn into shadows but then again samurai have more stamina and are skilled in many things

Ninja, or shinobi, are trained in combative martial arts, espionage, assassination etc… They use many different weapons from shuriken and kunai to smoke bombs, firecrackers, short swords (called ninjaken) and ozutsu (which are cannons) - they had a very wide array of weapons. They were very sly as well.
Samurai, or bushi, were members of Japanese military class. They're usually envisioned with the sword, but they have many other weapons such as bows, spears etc... They followed the bushido, the way of the samurai. This means they were supposed to act in a honorably, ethical way.
Personally, I think a ninja would win. While the samurai has many weapons, however, the ninja still has more - even things like cannons. The ninja had stealth on their side, and it was one of their jobs to assassinate.

Ninjas, better known as Shinobi's, I think would be the winners.
Shinobi's are taught to be stealth, and quick. Able to throw kunais and shurikens. Not to mention they too can wield a sword and other weapons. Shinobi's (Ninja's) are also the best when it comes to Taijutsu and Ninjutsu.
All a samurai can do is *swish* here and *swish* there.
How would you know that samurai's have more stamina? I'd like to see a link to your facts.
My facts are all from Wiki... and from Japan and China... and of course Naruto :D

Ninja. The ninjas or shinobis were the assasins of the elite. They are not bound by code or honor like the Samurai who believe in that. Ninjas would just attack you in the night while you were least expecting it while the samurai would be expecting a front attack.

A Samurai is great with a sword, but isn't invisible when needed, or jumps far, or throw stars and stuff.
I am guessing a Ninja would win.

I think Ninja will win because they fight dirty.
Samurais believe in honor and fairness in fighting.
Also Ninjas are usually much quicker than Samurais.

Do a little reasearch into Ninjitsu and you will see it is much older and deadlier than any samurai could have ever been.
