The problem is that gangmembers are part of a family-their gang. The gang is usually a group of angry, rebellious individuals who have to prove their strength and power in some way to the community around them. Gangmembers have a way of attracting danger to those around them-
1.rival gangs target the family members and friends of their enemies.
2. If your sis and her man were to break-up or have a serious fight she could get hurt badly or killed.
3. Gangmembers are around A LOT of guns and knives stray bullets or a bullet meant for someone else may hurt your sis.

Maybe your parents think about this and are worried.
The best thing for them to do is to tell your sister that they love her, unconditionally. Tell her that they are worried about her, and then let her make her decision and then if anything bad happens (prayerfully it won't) be there to love her and help her, WITHOUT blame.
We all have to live our lives to our, as parents they don't have to accept it, if they know it's wrong, but they can love their daughter without loving her actions.

I Feel Like Its Her Life And She Has To Make Decisions For Herself, Its Not Up To The Family.. How Will She Know She's Making A Mistake If Everyone Is Deciding For Her, Long As He's Making Her Happy Then Everyone Should Just Butt Out..

Well he could have been jumped in the gang by force. It's hard to get out of gang, and when I say that I mean it's like thhey have tooke over your life. I think they should give him ONE chance, if he messes up in any way then it's over. But just talk to your sister, if you think she is mature enough to handle the situation on her own, then do that. If you don't want to get in with her life let her make a mistake and learn from it. Not that I'm saying she will make a mistake or has already made one.

Your sister has no interest in getting a better life with a real man, honestly. We never know the future, I know but let's say that they marry, tell her thet her house will be visited many times by the police and her kids will think that this role of life is normal.......................sad, man, sad.
Can't she picture that? she deserves better!!!! why does she look for trouble......this guy means big trouble!
When she breaks up or have a serious fight, this guy can bring problems to her family...............I am sorry, but that's the reputation they have.
Your sister needs to understand this, and think about her family safety in first place.
She's involving everyone!!!
Good Luck! I hope she thinks about this...........

I wouldn't....................Good Luck! you'll need it.

No. Your big sister will come home some day and say, "Mom. Dad! I've got some news to tell you."

They will think she is going to tell them that she is pregnant but instead she will say, "I just joined his gang. Would you like to see the new tattoo?"

Thunk! Thunk! Both parents fell faint to the floor!

Why didn't she just tell them she was pregnant. The news would had been much better to take.

That is a tough one. You would like to give the fellow the benefit of the doubt, however, since he is in a gang that most likely will cause problems. I think the overall answer is no.

I don't blame your parents,I would be afraid for her,but if she keeps going out with him anyway they should try to get to know him better.Invite him over for dinners or to family outings. He may be a good person only time will tell.

(Many blessings)

No - your sister is putting herself and your family in danger as long as she associates with him.

only if he leaves the gang, which probably isn't possible (most cases, the only way you can leave a gang is if you die). so i say no. your sister really needs to find a man who isn't into illegalities
