I mean they are now able to get in.(they've been a band for 25 years now)

U2 started in the early 80's and they just made it.. Bon Jovi hit big around 85, so I would between now and the next five years and they won't be no Pete Rose!.. but a Bed of Roses!

They're eligible 25 years after their first record and Bon Jovi's debut album came out in 1984

Because they are a band that doesn't get critical acclaim in general, I'd say they may never make it. Record sales alone doesn't do it.

How many gold records does Rush have and yet they aren't in there?

Atleast a couple of years. You have to be around for 25 years before your eligable.
