A silver bullet is possible. Perhaps so is a diamond bullet, but firing too many of them might wear the barrel out quickly. Diamond also has comparatively little density for a given volume, meaning that it would not have the range of a heavier material because the air would slow the bullet down sooner.
Jade, being brittle, would be even more problematic as a ballistic material. The mechanical shock would tend to fracture the bullet, which would make it shatter into a lot of irregularly-shaped pieces, each of which would have wildly different aerodynamic properties. Jade also lacks the necessary physical density to pack much punch, assuming that a piece actually hit the target it was aimed at.
I am not sure, but I think AK-47 ammo is copper-clad to help the bullet keep its shape, with the lead bulk material being cheaper and more dense to give the bullet more momentum.

You want to use a heavy material so that the bullet has range. Kind of like the difference in throwing a ping pong ball versus a baseball. The baseball can be thrown farther because it has sufficient momentum when thrown to overcome air resistance, at least for longer than a ping pong ball.

You should watch the movie about how the Lone Ranger came about. As the story goes he couldn't hit a target.I guess being unable to judge distance and wind resistance.Silver being lighter would shoot more straight and true over a longer area.

Yes but silver is quite expensive... an airgun uses a lead (pb) bullet which is heavier than silver and it works fine.

Yes, silver would work fine as a bullet. To zico p: Silver bullets kill warewolves not vampires.

Sure. Heavy is OK -- lead is heavier. There are a number of stories (mostly fiction, but seems probable) that you can make a bullet from ice. Melts in victim, leaves no trace to weapon.

Hi. The A10 uses uranium (depleted) bullets, so yes.
