Like he said EPA. If it's not because of emissions then it is because they probably held a meeting discussing what the American public is interested in. Believe it or not, the public's enthusiasm towards certain vehicles is a major reason why Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, etc. don't bring over a lot of their product (which I think sucks). Hope this helped.

It has a 4 stroke engine, so I don't think that the EPA has anything to do with it.
It looks very similar to the 400cc Majesty.
If a potential buyer didn't want such a large engine, they would go down to the next size.
Which would be the 300cc Versity.
But then that would cut into the sales of the 250cc Morphous.
