I'm not talking just numbers so far this season, but who will be the best over the career span.

Several options:

Daisuke Matsuzaka - Boston
Tim Lincecum - San Francisco
Jeremy Guthrie - Baltimore
Andrew Miller - Detroit
Hideki Okajima - Boston

Andrew Miller his size how young he is and the kid still needs to fill out. Me being from Michigan this is scary for future tiger opponents. already being compared to randy johnson.

Dice K i do not consider a rookie because of his previous career. Okajima a reliever.

Other two have not helped there team at all. Believe orioles and giants are not even in a playoff race.

Dice-K is having a good year, but he also benefits from one of the best hitting line ups in the Majors, plus i don't really consider him a rookie because he played in Japan for how long.

Lincecum is nasty and should be the ace for the Giants in a few years.

If Phil Hughes didn't get injured om pretty sure he would be having 1 hell of a season but one cant say anything because he has been injured.

But if you look over at the Milwaukee Brewers they have a young guy named Yovani Gallardo. Hes 2-1 with a 2.34 ERA through 4 starts. Hes gone through 34.2 innings w/ 31Ks and 11 walks. Hes pitched in relief a few times. This kid is a stud. But the fact that he has only recently been called up you cant really make an argument for rookie of the year. But in years to come i think he'll be a great pitcher.

Dice K Now But In A Year Or Two It Will Be Lincecum

Dice-K... he has 11 wins currently and he is pitching one hell of a season... He is currently on pace to win 24 wins he can keep this up in the season and in the playoffs as well....

I like that kid tim Lincecum.... a very nasty young pitcher, and he can develop as an elite one day, because he is younger than Matsuzaka and has a lot more potentail...

It's just looks like his age don't seem like his status of a Rookie (Dice-K is 26 and Tim is 22).....

Well, Okajima is a reliever...and I'm a Red Sox fan, so I think Dice K. has a great shot at Rookie of the Year

lincecum, he leads nl rookies in strikeouts. also it cannot really be dice-k, technically he is a rookie, but he pitched in japan which is very strong in baseball, so he has more experience than lincecum. i think dice-k will have a very solid career, but tim lincecum will be an elite pitcher for years to come. he will be the ace for the giants in a couple of years.

Matsuzaka - Boston

matt garza looks nasty on the twins. he has pitched 15 innings so far this year and has only given up 1 unearned run. scouts consider him a young smoltz, with his combination of heat, off speed pitches, and poise.

but out of those, i believe guthrie has been the best. he has the best numbers and has been consistent.

Dice-K. Of the 5 this year, maybe his stats aren't absolutely the best, but he'll have the best MLB career of the 5.

i like watching andrew miller. He throws across his body and has a very interesting approach at pitching. He's the best.
