I don't drink soda anyway. A nickel is the thickest of US coins, if you put it in a 20 oz botle of coke in three days it will be gone, a penny disintegrates in two. So really imagine what its doing to your insides!!!

The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. It's pH is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about four days!
I've seen how clean it can get a dirty coin in no time,I won't drink it.
