a few months ago this one guy on myspace started talking to me out of nowhere he lives about 4 hours away. we chatted and then that was it. well about 2 months ago he suddenlt started talking to me alot. leaving me comments and telling me how cute i was .........all that stuff. then one day he gave me his number so i gave him mine. we chatted some more and now he is all telling me how he feels so much for me. maybe its cause im 26 and he is 21 but im just like well we have never really met in person and he will always call and ask did you miss me ? or hey seriously do you like me? and im always like im not to sure . is this weird or is it just me? is it just his age that he is so quick to feel he likes someone or is it just me being older and more experienced that im not giving him a chance. cause there was a day where i would have been flattered but now im just like hmm how can you like me so much when you have never even met me?

Talking to people online only works if they're honest and if you're honest. there's a big change it will work. Basically it's foundation is Trust.

♥ Well I am currently happily engaged & living with my fiance whom I met on myspace. I lived in southern DE and she lived in Northern NJ (3.5 horus away). I came into contact with an old friend of mine that I had went to school with, I saw my fiance on her list and said "Thats the girl I'm going to marry." I messaged her & we talked like that for a while, then we exchanged phone numbers & had long all night talks... :-) Then we met and took a trip to NY to visit the friend who'd brought us together through her myspace. And now here we are 15 months later happier than we've ever been. It can work if you want it to. When we lived apart for all those months it was hard... it took a lot of communication, trust & understanding, but we made it through. If you both want it to work then it will. You have to be open & honest and have total communication!

Good Luck!

As the others have said you have to both be Honest to each other & when you meet do it in a Public Place to be Safe.

In my experience, no they do not work at all. If you do meet, meet ONLY in a public place and drive separate vehicles. It is EXTREMELY dangerous.

if you do want to meet him, make sure you meet in a public place, not at one of your houses
