I woke up once and an image that looked very much like my next door neighbor (She was voted Miss India in one of the States for that particular state) was fellating me.
It might sound like a joke, or something that a guy should totally dig, but it freaked me out!
As I opened my eyes I could see her (or an image of her that I would liken to a hologram) kneeling next to the bed, full body with her head...you know. When I looked at it it urned to meet my stare then quickly faded as my eyes drew in more light and I jumped up and shouted "W.T.F!?"
I hadn't been dreaming about that either. I rarely have dreams about stuff like that and the dream I was coming out of was clear and distinct until I saw that.
Normally I'd say it was dream come true; in this case it was definitely not!
I think some people can project themselves from their bodies at times, I don't know if that is what it is, but I am still surprised to say I didn't appreciate it at all.
Like i said, this is not meant to be funny or a joke, it was actually pretty traumatic.

Hi,
What your cousins and brother are experiencing is a very minor sleep disorder called sleep paralysis.
When a person goes into REM (dream) sleep, the body invokes paralysis to insure that there is no dangerous
movements that could cause injury.
Sometimes when a person awakes, there is a very small
time lag to restore movement, and in this half awake half asleep state, the brains cognitive abilites are not functioning
normally, hence feelings of terror, disassocation and trauma.

It poses absolutly no danger, and usually passes in a few seconds.

Hope this helps,
Rob

Different cultures throughout history believed that people are vulnerable to spirits while sleeping. The ancient Egyptians thought this to be true, and they had special amulets to protect them in their sleep represented on their headrests. Usually the household spirit Bes was portrayed on the headrests to protect the sleeper.

There are also stories of incubi and subuci that prey on people while they sleep.

Yes, I have had that happen to me, its like a heavy weight is on your chest, you are aware, and cant move or talk. These evils entities even knocked the breath out of me, and hasseled me for months. These spirits are demonic, and since i was a believer in Christ, My Pastor told me we have power in Jesus name. After I ordered them to go back to where they came, I never had a problem again. NEVER engage an evil spirit in conversation, they are wayyyy too smart, just order them back,in Jesus name, and they won't want to come near you.

What your speaking of is called old hag syndrome. Allot of people have different opinions about what this really is.Some believe you leave your body while sleeping and this happens when you wake up upon re-entering.Some believe it to be demonic. I personally believe it is when your nerves are so relaxed that your body is still asleep even though your conscience.Sortive like when your hand or foot falls asleep.

Generally, sleep paralysis can be a sleep disorder or it can happen when your soul is trying to come back to your body after 'traveling'.

Been touched frequently; awake and sleeping...but never grabbed. Not to say that it can't happen; just suggesting some research.

A spirit tried to strangle me. I awoke
from sleep and struggled a lot. It was
difficult for me, but some how I
managed. It happened twice. The
face is familiar to me - a person who
grudges against me secretly.

It's quite common, normally you got panic & try to struggle ~ the more you struggle, the more pressure you felt.
Just relax (quite difficult, because when it happened you forgotten to to respond) and, it happened when you felt very light when you're about falling asleep - then, you'll be sucked into some kind of tunnel....

my mom house sits for a friend of hers sometimes, one weekend i stayed with my mom and i slept in her friend's daughters room b/c its a gorgeous room, and i didn't wanna sleep with my mom.
anyway i kept their dog with me the whole time it just felt eerie in there, i woke up extra early the next morning, like 6am and walked around some then i got back in the bed, i swear for like 15 minutes i felt like i was being tortured by a dark spirit, not sure to say witch (thats old wives tales) or what but eventually someone in all black was on my chest screaming but i couldn't hear it scream, it was almost like mockery! i've never had something like that happen to me b4, this was like early 2006.
anyway when i woke up i told my mom and she said her friends daughter NEVER sleeps in her own room, she ALWAYS sleeps with her mom, and she's like 14 (too old to still sleep with her mommie)
maybe there's something in that room!
