Yes! It was awful and I hated it. I got him to stop calling me that nickname by asking my ginormous husband to have a talk with him. I will loan you my husband, but while you have him you must feed him.

My sisters and brother once during a game, wanted to name me "Porky", after Jeff's sidekick friend on an old 1950's "Lassie show", and I thought, "what?, I'm not fat like him, am I?"
So, they called me "Skinny Pork", which was probably worse, and in pictures and games always drew me up with a face like a pig. Every time we were in the car going through the countryside and saw pigs, they'd say, that's me... It got very tiresome, but I got used to it and accepted it almost as a name, and then finally maybe 3 or 4 years later they eventually and gradually, stopped calling me that, but it took many years. I don't know why they thought I was like a pig, -or even skinny-, because I wasn't but they must have felt pretty strongly about it to always be saying it...

None that my friends have called me, but the nicknames my family used to call me bothered the heck out of me. It's worse when my mom decides to be nostalgic and pull out the old ones.

My brothers used to call me Bonehead because I would ask questions they secretly wanted to ask, but didn't have the gonads.
So one day I lost my cool with them and shouted I was sick and tired of them calling me bonehead when I had finished college and neither of them had...and sadly I did use the F word several times.
Now they don't call me bonehead anymore. If they ever did they'd get another earfull of my bitchin' and moanin' and F-words. Well maybe not the F-words, I don't think those are necessary.

Yeah, when I was younger an ex of mine called my vaccuum .... yeah go figure. There was no truth behind it except he knew it p*ssed me off heaps. Then his mates all joined in and started calling me that as well... but they got over it within a month, as soon as I stopped reacting to it, they never said it again.

Oh yeah. When I was in middle school, I "developed" faster than the other girls so my friend called me "cow" because I had huge utters. It was pretty mean, especially when she would say it out loud in front of guys. But now I am happy that I have them so it doesn't bother me.

I seriously had a boyfriend that called me "dooky"
Yes, I was mortified. He would also call me "Fe-Fe." The more I protested the more he would call be dooky. So I acted like it didn't bother me and he quit and stuck with Fe Fe. Not that I liked that either, the creep. Glad he is an ex.

Yes. And my husband calls me this everytime he wants to irritate me. I wish I could figure out a way to make him stop. I try to ignore him and pretend it doesn't bother me, but he knows it does. Maybe I should dump him and find someone who really cares about my feelings?

Crackhead in grade 7 because that's when I started the habit of sleepless nights.
In retrospect, I did look rather tired and drug-like.
