I will probably be going to one like that in Sept. and I was asking around about it. Some guy told me to get there really early. Well for the place I wanted to go he said getting there 2 hrs before it starts is a good time. Hope that helps! =D

Get there super early. When the doors to the venue open, unless you can easily get to the very front, start on either the far left or the far right. As the concert goes on, people will smoosh, and you will get a lot closer. Also, push to the front as the crowd jumps up and down.

When the crowd starts moving and pushing make your way to the front. That usually works or you could get there early and get a good spot.

you can act like your child is up front and you are going to get him. You can bribe people. Or just find a big man who can push people out of the way.

get there EARLY.
and you can push through the crowd, i guess.
but people will most likely yell at you.
