First of all he wasnt going to Duke, he had signed a letter of intent with Temple that he was let out of by Coach Chaney when he opted for the NBA. And of course he would be better, he would be a better person for sure, and would probably shoot a higher percent and would have understood the necessity of keeping a great big man in Shaq around. He would have been great physically no matter what, and the points and high scoring games would have come. But he would have learn the value of other people and would probably focus less of his attention on himself and his selfish wishes. That is probably the biggest difference between he and Jordan; Michael played for a classy coach like Dean Smith, Kobe did not and really has never learned to mature into a man.

Absolutely. There is not a player in the NBA who skipped college that wouldn't have benefited from college experience. Kobe would have been forced to play team ball. He would have realized that he has to adjust his game to fit the team and not the other way around. He also would have better fundamentals and a better understanding of the game. Plus, he may have even learned that when you marry someone that you promise to be faithful to that person; it means you don't have sex with anyone else.

No, I doubt it. He is a more experienced NBA player than most at his age. I think it is a misconception that college players end up better than high schoolers. He's the best player in the NBA, so its hard to ask more of him at this point.

He might have matured better under a college coach. He's a great individual player, but a cancer to the team.

Not likely. He's playing with a lot higher caliber of players than he would have in college. To be the best, you train with the best.

Maybe a better team player. He would have gone to Duke. Coach K is a hell of a coach.

Better than he currently is? I doubt. He is the best right now.
But I do believe he should have gone to college, because I believe that everyone should go to college.

i think that he would have gained some experience but he would have taken the risk of getting injured. It was a big jump but i think that he handeled it well.

I didn't know you could be better than that. haha, i don't know, he might be, but it would only be his 8 year, so he might not be. NBA expierience made him better. So i say probably not.
