Whenever I sit to watch some news, I check all the news channels. Amongst them, I think India TV is the worst in terms of content. They show more of family matters, people performing stunts on bikes, fake ghost stories and there's no need to mention the snakes. I think this channel should be named 'Naag-Naagin Channel' since everyday there's some new news based on snakes. The working people don't have time to watch such rubbish. On the other hand, NDTV and AajTak are responsible news channels.

i totally agree with u. news channel is not meant for entertainment all other entertainment channels can entertain masses but a news cannel shoud show its core competence i.e. news that's it.........

Well they probably want to cater to a wider audience by throwing in some entertaining news etc. Headlines Today was quite bad when it started but has improved by leaps and bounds. CNN IBN and Times Now are also not bad. Collectively all the news channels are successful in exposing all the misdeeds of politicians, police and other such incidents, and because of this, many wrongs have been righted such as in the Priya Mattoo and Jessica Lal case, so also the IPS officer who was chargesheeted today (who was previously given a clean chit by Laloo for molesting a lady passenger). Fortunately all the news channels have their commercials at the same time so if you dont quite like the news on one channel you could always flip channels. Compared to the days when all we had was DD, what we have today along with all the internet news channels is truly marvellous.

All news channels in India give at most 30% news and 70% rubbish. Advertisements make it worse.

I totaly agree with u. I think they should change the name of the channel from "india tv " to "Pardafash 24 hours".
Jab bhi dekho utpatang cheezon ka khulasa karte rehte hain.
Maine toh us channel par kabhi news dekhi hi nahin. Infact, I think all the news channels are adopting the same line. So, to watch news, I prefer "doordarshan".

i can't comment on it as i watch only Aaj Tak,Star News n CNBC n i'm quite satisfied with watever information i get 4m these channels so i dnt hv time to watch any other news channel.

our news channels are good commercial gimmicks. So i view only the headlines that give the gist of the day's news.

It has all become so commercial !!!! All the news chn. vying for higher viwership and TRP !!!!!

ya india tv sucks .. keep on reapting same thing .. they will keep on telecasting the 5 mins clip till 30 mins that sucks..
