Discounting anything the Christians might say, even in Ceremonial Magick Demons must be summoned, they cannot cross on their own. As there are many and complicated steps in summoning a Daemon and one error dumbs the whole ritual.
Therefore, you dream of a Demon, but you would not be attacked by one.

Well, it just depends...when you're sleeping you're not necessarily as "aware" of things when you're awake and such. Typically, you're more likely to be attacked by "bad" human spirits or "bad" Djinn than Demon...that's just my opinion since I actually have at least one Demon guardian and one Angel guardian -- there's another but I can't quite figure which one he is except @ss.
Truthfully, I've never had too much to worry about; but a couple months back I was having a dream about a friend --well was a friend -- and we were kind of circling in the dream then all of a sudden she runs straight for me and slams right into me and I woke up.
Thought it was odd but ok then; went to the bathroom and when I was laying down I noticed a weird pulsing in my neck...well upon review of the situation, a Djinn was stupid enough to try and get "in" while distracting me via the dream...thought it was coy enough to get past my Demon. Fortunately he got it out and it's never happened again.
Most people have nothing to worry about; but don't dwell on it too much or you're likely to attract some things you don't want around as they'll think you have a 'fear' and will try to exploit it.

Somewhat. You aren't conscious, therefore you are not able to fight off an attack. It used to happen to me, but I found that praying specifically for protection from that before I slept made it stop. At the same time, I was a much weaker Christian back then in my awake time and was very much being attacked all the time anyway. I think that as I've grown stronger in my faith, the shields have grown stronger.

^The only "demons" that attack you in your sleep are your own in dreams and it's usually because of something you've done or something someone else has done to you. So it's really your subconscious, trying to understand and figure out what happened.

Because all you have to do is demand them to leave your home and they must. They also hate willful people. So attacking in your sleep is a way to get at you before you come to your senses.
Oh, and yeah, I agree...the white light of Christ will protect you (also pray for it to surround your home as well) and being a stronger person will stop them from coming to you. I'm working on becoming a stronger Christian, and as such, I don't get attacked much anymore.

Friend, if you are christian, evil will try to come close to you and sometimes it seems to lurk close at night, but the Lord IS always there. If not a christian, and IF you have opened yourself to allow demonic forces to come your way, by willingly involving yourself by choice in any area that belongs to evil, then yes it sees that it has a right to come at its choosing...I pray you be blessed by the Lord.

Just say a prayer to God to surround with the protective white light of Jesus Christ and nothing can harm you :)
Also focus on something more positive so that you don't attract these types of things.

Absolutely not! Your girfriend wants you to have trouble going to sleep. Either she's trying to scare you or she's just ignorant. Don't let her scare you.
