have sex, the sperm will cause you to have contractions...maybe that will get the baby to come.

there is no position that will open the cervix. however, men's ejaculate has a certain chemical in it that helps to thin out the cervix and orgasms make the uterus contract and could start labor. if this is your first pregnancy, don't get too excited. in most cases, women will go over the due date. i went over my due date by two weeks before the doctor induced me. anyway happy trying!

I too, went over, here is what my doc. told me, have sex, the sperm helps to dialate (sp?), walk alot, have an orgasm (it can start contractions), keep well hydrated, and try stimulation of the nipples, rub each nipple for 5 minutes once a day (no more than that!!) it will bring on uterine contractions and could start your labor. GOOD LUCK, hang in there, remember no pregnancy lasts forever!!

The position really doesn't matter, what ever is most comfortable, it is the oxytocin that is released when you climax that helps the cervix to dilate. And some times having sex can cause your water to break.

you on top. its easy and it will most likely put you in labor. if not, drive down a bumpy road for a while. that helped me

Your body will dialate your cervix on it's own.
