kind of
pet peeving is being a grump at all the thing that YOU think are not acceptable. and if you have too high a standards for everyone (but not yourself) it's POINTLESS.
and sometimes sweating the small stuff is freaking out over something that really doesn't matter, or that you perceive to be the end of the world (this is my BIGGEST pet peeve)
so basically I just went in a circle, as usual,,, next

No. A pet peeve is a little thing that irritates you, usually something that's not really of any significance such as people who chew with their mouths open. Sweating the small stuff is when you are so worried about little things that you are not looking at the big picture. Example: your wedding cake having strawberry filling instead of raspberry made the whole thing a disaster... when really, that's not the focus of the wedding. (Best example I could think of right now.)

I don't think so, not for me. I don't let little stuff get to me, but there is a limit to what I can tolerate of my pet peeves. I have a long fuse.
