If I have a poem that takes more space than what Y/A offers...
How can I post my poem for you to read in its full context without revealing my personal information?

Thank you.

I shall do that, if you promise to me, that you will give to me your honest and constructive opinion and criticism of the pieces that I submit. If I wanted the “Atta girl”, I’ would let my family read my pieces. I look for truth and honesty which only a stranger can give. Though you are not strangers, you are not my family, therefore you can be honest with your words.

If you want an honest critique, with no-holds-barred, but only constructive comments, you can always send us a copy at: newpoetspress@yahoo.com. Please send only one poem at a time and give us some time to evaluate your work. We don't charge for this service, but expect our comments to be taken with a positive attitude and an open mind.

So you know, and for your own peace of mind, your poem is copywrited the moment you write it down (on paper or electronically). Simply make sure you have a way to date your material so you can prove the date of creation.
New Poets Press does not publish poems without the expressed permission of the poem's author, and we are not currently publishing any new submissions.

If, on the other hand, you simply want to post your work for others to read, there are several websites, including Y/A, where you can post for simple comments.

Split your poem into sections. Post the first, and longest section in the original box and then post subsiquent sections in the "add details" box which you will find if you hold your cursor over the + icon beneath your post.

As far as your personal information goes, you have control over your profile, whether you accept email or not, etc. Check your profile to make sure you are comfortable with it.

Why not enter your poem in the 'poem of the month' competition at myverdict.net.
