I am in my early twenties. Back when I was 17-18, I had lots of energy and could stay focused for hours on end. I went through books in days and had excellent comprehension.

Now I can barely drive without feeling like I'm going to pass out from drowsiness any second. It takes me weeks to read a book because I have to keep re-reading paragraphs due to my poor comprehension. I feel OK when I wake up (8 hours of sleep + breakfast) but four hours later I start getting tired fast.

I tried a vegan diet, raw vegan diet, lots of meat, red or white, etc.. nothing seems to have much of a difference. Raw veganism gives me the most energy but most of that energy is spent preparing the food.

Is it my blood sugar? Is it anemia? I take a multi vitamin daily

My diet contains no sugar (except from fruit and juice) and no caffeine, also no preservatives. Back when I ate junk food, I wasn't better off except when I took caffeine on a regular basis (every hour). I don't do any drugs, legal/illegal/OTC, back I honestly had way more energy even when I was using depressants and smoking pot.

Talk to your doctor. You could have a health problem that is causing this. Obviously whatever you have been trying so far hasn't been working, so get to the doctor! I'm so sorry you're having these problems and I wish you safety and good health.

Sounds as if something chemically may be to blame. I would suggest going to the dr for a blood panel to see if everything is where it should be. It sounds as if you're getting enough iron? Maybe your body is not digesting/storing it properly? A blood test would confirm this.
