It's based on the father's income. I would talk with an attorney or the department of children and families. If the father does not work they base it on a minimum wage job and tell him to get a job. Then you can go back and change it later.

Depends on what he makes, you make and your bills. There are calculators available on the internet that can give you an idea. I receive $200 per month TOTAL for 2 kids. We both made about the same $ and I had about 65% custody. At the time of the agreement they were 2 & 4. Don't plan on living off child support.

It is based on the fathers wages and whether or not he has children already. First children are always considered to be a priority when it comes to child support. If he has no other children then roughly a third of his paycheck will go to the kids.
If you are going for child support don't forget to include health insurance, 1/2 of day care costs and 1/2 of all extra curricular activities and supplies.

it is usually based on fathers income and they can go by the larger amount they made if they recently quit or lost a job. Also they factor in childcare costs and who pays them, insurance costs and who pays them, how much mom makes, if parents agree upon an amount, location........there are a lot of factors. I get $400 a month for my two boys whose dad is a marine but that amount was what we agreed upon in the divorce, childsupport wanted him to pay $460 but he pays $480 right now to cover back support.

It can vary greatly. It depends first off if both children are by the same man, how much he makes & how much you make & if he already has children by someone else. You can probably go to your state's Family & Children services website or the family division of the courthouse & get more info. There's a set guideline that they go by.

it depends on what the father makes. you should get 1/3 of his paycheck. but that has to be settled in court. my fiance pays 1/3 of his check to his ex wife for his 2 kids.
