Have you or would you tell your spouse you cheated? Better yet, do you think you could keep it a secret from everyone with the excepton of your mistress?

IF I ever did - I would be completely honest about it...
But that is a VERY BIG "IF" - I'd probably cut "it" off first before even THINKING about cheating... ;);)

I would never tell if it happened. If my first mistake was doing it my second one would be telling her about it. If I did tell all I would be doing is hurting her feelings. The guilt is my own and I should bear it myself and not bring my spouse in for emotional support. I already had my chance to do that didn't I? I would find a way to live with it and try to love my wife even more for her trust in me (even though it was misplaced however briefly)
And yes I could keep secret from everyone. I just have that keep my mouth shut mentality.

I have not had sex outside of my marriage however I don't think I could tell anyone. I could keep it a secret from everyone.

NO. I always hear people say that the cheating person should tell, but why? It will only hurt your wife to know, and it will not make it any better for you.
If you want to make things better, don't tell, just be good to your wife and make her happy, and pretend it never happened!
